Dr. Susan Mayo has been part of the musical landscape of Kansas for over 30 years. While an artist-in-residence of the Tallgrass Artist Residency program in the summer of 2018, Dr. Mayo composed a string quartet inspired by the sounds of the Flint Hills prairie.
