“Kelly Hunt sings with the lilting cadence of a folksinger born somewhere far away, sometime long ago.”

 -Robert Crawford [Rolling Stone Country]

Folk/Americana singer-songwriter and banjo player Kelly Hunt shares her stories and songs accompanied by violinist Stas’ Heaney. KELLY HUNT is launching her stellar debut album titled “Even The Sparrow,” finishing a first tour segment which has taken her all the way to Vancouver Island, BC, with major market shows and radio appearances all along the route –

and on her way back home, she will stop by Volland for a pop-up concert!

Kelly is a superbly talented, fresh new songwriter on a rapid national ascension. “Even the Sparrow” has been getting terrific national press, consistently charting top 10 on both Folk Radio charts and has just cracked the Americana chart. Some heavyweight publications and writers are lining up behind it, people like critical demigod Greil Marcus – perhaps the foremost Bob Dylan writer on the planet – in his Rolling Stone column a few weeks ago. She’s touring in duo format with multi-instrumentalist Stas’ Heaney.

This is a last-minute, fabulous opportunity to hear Kelly at Volland.

We hope you can join us and spread the word!  The concert will take place under the trees by the blacksmith shop. Bring your lawn chairs. (If the evening is too hot, we will move inside.) Adult beverages available by donation. Free popcorn.
