BEN COSGROVE

April 19 - May 3 | Ben is a pianist and composer who often reflects on natural themes in his work. During his time at Volland, Ben wrote new compositions that later appeared in his 2023 album Bearings. Ben is a past Tallgrass Artist Resident.

DAWN STETZEL

September 20 - October 18 | Dawn makes "sculptural objects, contraptions that interact with a specific environment." Utilizing found objects, which are often discarded or forgotten, Dawn reimagines their purpose in her sculptures. During her time at Volland, Dawn made a new work from collected materials in the Wabaunsee County area.

September 20 - October 18 |  Shoshannah and Tonee, Volland's first collaborative duo residents, are both photographers. With their Volland Residency, Shoshannah and Tonee made photograms during the night and developed them during the day as a way of examining the natural processes that occur at night.
