For the rest of 2024, Volland is highlighting Wabaunsee County’s creative talents. Starting with
Wabaunsee County Wonders, Volland is showcasing the visual arts.
On Sunday, October 13th, Volland will play host for the county’s music makers and the new chef in town, Adam Waechter.
Western and cowboy tunes by
Geff Dawson & Western Journeys; bluegrass music by
Eclectic Grass
with Charley Gann, Rhonda Nehring, and Larry Wall; and rock by
Nomads from the Void
with Nathan Teske and Mason Schwemer will entertain you and rock Volland!
And – Adam Waechter, who serves lunch and specialty dinners at
Mel’s Gathering Spot
in Alma, KS (Wabaunsee County), will serve up his Bad Boy Hot Dogs: All Beef Kosher Smoked Sausage with your choice of Local Pickle Slices, Carmelized Onions, or Sliced Vine Ripe Tomatoes. Together with 3 Locally Hand Crafted Sauces of Herbed Sriracha Tomato Ketchup, a Velvet Dijonnaise or a Curry Mayonnaise from Farm Fresh Eggs and Olive Oil (with regular toppings too) and bags of chips. (We think these rise to the level of an art form- You may want to take some home for dinner!) Beverages will be available by donation.
We invite YOU to bring your instruments for an open jam session after the performances.
A Free Will Offering is appreciated, and the proceeds will be shared by the performing musicians.
