Travel journaling is seeing a major comeback. Mindfully logging a journey complements photos and souvenirs. The practice also preserves the feelings and discoveries made on a trip.

There are several ways to capture a moment with journaling. For those unfamiliar but interested in learning more, Bridget Bryan, the Volland Foundation's Director of Digital Communications, will share three different travel journaling techniques: layout, lettering, and how to zero in on what you want to capture.

Adventurers will walk away with their own travel kit, the experience using watercolors to color their handwritten souvenir, and inspiration for avenues to explore. Most importantly, each participant will feel confidence and encouragement to turn their everyday life into a travel adventure, no matter their skill level.

All supplies are provided for this workshop, including:

-zipper bag

-watercolor dot card

-sketchbook

-pencil

-ruler

-Tombow brush pen

-paintbrush

-travel journal card with the 3 techniques

-paper towels

-inspiring grounds of Volland
