Since his Carnegie Hall solo debut in 2009, multi-faceted touring artist Nilko Andréas has been performing for audiences on three continents as an internationally awarded classical guitarist.
Born in Colombia, Nilko has a great interest for the composers of Latin America, constantly commissioning and premiering new works. He is the founder of the “Amazonas,” a series presented at Carnegie Hall since 2010, with a goal of raising awareness of environmental damage around the world.
Join Nilko Andréas, Beau Bledsoe, and Ezgi Karakus for an unforgettable concert experience, featuring highlights from their 2023 Carnegie Hall performance. Delight in a selection of enchanting melodies from Brazil, Colombia, and Portugal, as these accomplished musicians showcase the beauty and diversity of South American and Iberian musical traditions.
